Before we dive head over heels into marketing, it’s important to ask yourself…
“who exactly is my ideal customer?”
In other words, if you could sponsor a hundred people just like you, where would they be hiding?
I have a tool that I built called the “Ideal Prospect Builder“. It’s hosted on google, and all you have to do is literally invent your “perfect customer” by making up details about them and answering a series of questions about them as if they themselves were taking the quiz.
Here’s how to use it:
First, click here to start using the Ideal Prospect Builder. You will be sent an email with all of your answers so make sure you put in your primary email address and name so that you can go back to the answers any time you need to.
Then click “next” to start building your ideal customer.
There are alot of questions here, take the time to think about what your prospect looks like, what interests they have, what their family life is like and also what their goals, dream and desires are. You’ll be amazed at how vividly your new “made-up” customer becomes as you begin to imagine them answering these questions.
Continue completing all of the questions, until you come to the last screen and then click submit to send yourself an email with your completed survey questions. Refer back to this survey from time to time any time you need to remind yourself about who your ideal customer is.
PRO TIP: Do the Ideal Prospect Builder twice so that you have a couple options to choose from when thinking about what your ideal prospect is like.
