I used to hate to read.
Honestly.
These days, I’ve learned to love it.
Not because it was easy, but because I understand that leaders are readers and if I want to create more leaders on my team I need to create more readers, because remember, your team will only ever do what YOU do, so unless you learn to become a reader yourself, you’ll never have any true leaders on your team… which is a scary thought!
In this post, I’ll share with you my three tips for becoming a great reader and actually learning to love reading like I do!
Read what your sponsor reads
Why re-invent the wheel. Ask your sponsor what they are reading, and what they recommend. Search upline to find someone who has what you want and simply copy their reading list. Get a good list of 5-7 nooks that you will study, thoroughly STUDY over the next 18 months in your business.

One book, 100x
One book read a hundred times is FAAARR better than 100 books read one time. You should read and STUDY and take notes on the first book your sponsor recommends AT LEAST 10 times before moving on to the second one.
Every time you read and re-read it take notes as if you had to give a presentation on what you’re learning the very next day at a company training event (with you being the main speaker!).
This will influence how you pay attention and what you can pull from the wisdom inside the book. Once you finish the book, start again!

Always read from a paper-back copy of the book.
The science behind why this works better than an audiobook or ebook is beyond the scope of this post, just understand that having something physical in your hands that you can take notes on, underline or highlight interesting things of even fold certain pages or bookmarks will GREATLY benefit and help to cultivate an infinity toward reading.
Make sure you read something, anything at least once a day, even if you can only sneak in a quick 5 minute reading session. The KEY to making this work is in the repetition and consistently of reading EVERY single day.
